If we get a third Mario movie, I hope it scales things back a lot. One main kingdom, a more interesting villain and more character development and humor. The artistry and heart is there, just needs more focus. Still fun though. Also let Bowser sing again!

Now that Bluesky seems to be working and I've marinated on Mario Galaxy, here's some impressions. While it was fun, it was trying to fit too much into one movie. Would have killed for more focus on Jr's motivations and how he knew daddy had been captured. Also didn't need Fox in it IMO.

Even though I'm sad I missed my dual horror romps, I just got back from Project Hail Mary. Outstanding sci-fi adventure, and Gosling was great as always. Highly recommend it. My next film HAS to be Mario Galaxy. It's happening!
