I'm not a huge fan of his theories, but he's still fascinating - and no matter what I think of him, he did take #Thelema in... unexpected directions. No room in my bookshelves though.

Finished my RX-78-2 #Gundam build. I've learned a lot. Nice to feel "done" and to move on to the next project. I need to work on the photography and posing for the next one too. But for my first build ever, I'm happy with it! #gunpla

Top coat done, mistakes were probably made, but wow, it makes a difference. Of course, looking at this photo, I see the damaged decal on one of the legs... Now for weathering (and a new decal) and another coat before I call this one done. #gunpla

Today we celebrate the Greater Feast of David Bowie, who died 10 years ago today. He's the one artist that has had the biggest impact on my life and helped shape me. His loss will always be felt. You can tell me all about it on the next Bardo, Mr Bowie.

Ok, first Gunpla built. Almost felt sad wrapping up the build, but with four new kits on the way, it was probably for the best. Waiting for Gundam Markers to give it some proper panel lining. Such a great experience building this thing.

Only played this on PC and we had a really hard time, until we realized that there was something with how the timer was set so the faster your computer was, the more magic you got, completely changing the difficulty of the game. Me and my friends also still use the Skaven quote "die, die traitor".

AI "occultist" are really trying to push AI into Esoteric - including Thelemic - circles. At least communities are hitting back every time some new useless theory, text or deep "insights" are posted. But using it to "communicate between worlds" is probably one of the worst ideas I've seen yet.

Trying to forget the world by distracting myself with my first #Gunpla kit (the RX-78-2 Gundam, the original model from 1979) and damn, it's satisfying. Do I need another hobby featuring plastic figurines? Can I afford another hobby featuring plastic figurines? Who cares at this point.

My girlfriend is a huge Attack on Titan fan, so I booted up Assassin's Creed Shadows again and I'm straight away reminded of how much I love that series. It always felt like games written for *me*. It made me want to work for Ubisoft, and while I'm not working on AC, that dream did come true.

I'm really enjoying #ChaosZeroNightmare. Is it full of typical Gacha bleakness? Sure. Does it use the really annoying Genchin Gacha 50/50 system? Yes. Some typical anime bait? Yes. But the gameplay and the characters are enjoyable, so for now, it's a nice little diversion for worldly bullshit.

#CriticalRole Campaign 4 starting tonight. I was a devoted fan during C1, started watching when they were on episode 25, but didn't get into either C2 or 3. It's just not possible to keep up with 4 hours of content each week. I selfishly wish they'd cut down on runtime, like a "normal" Actual Play.

Finished up the last minis I needed for my Ad Mech Kill Team. Are they flawed? Heavily. Is the basing extremely basic? Yes. But since they *are* the first #wh40k minis I've painted in 20+ years, I'm quite proud of them. I've learned quite a bit during the process, so time to pick the next team.

What I didn't consider much when I started to paint #WH40K minis again was how simply therapeutic it is. A few hours, completely focused, mind not doing its regular racing, audio book with Horus Heresy for extra effect and you get something tangible out of it once you're finished. It's done wonders.

Gave the original Gundam (1979) a try on a whim, without knowing what to expect. One thing is for sure - I did not expect that amount of deaths that quick. "Half of humanity is dead, let's kill some more, including blowing up crowds of people and a main character's whole family." Welp.

Call me old fashioned, but I think that torching 1,000,000,000,000 dollars because a chatbot cannot count b's in 'blueberry' makes me think there is something inherently wrong with world's economy.

Because of all the #WH40K mini painting videos I've watched, YouTube has decided that #gunpla building might be in my interests. Watched a few videos, and they are not good for my sanity. I have a sudden urge to buy and build Gundam models. I prefer to stay in a relationship though.

One thing is for certain when trying to paint #WH40K minis again - your hands are not as stable at 44 as they were at 16.

As the kid grows, my eyes are more and more open to what is actually on the shelves of toy stores. And my god, it's a mix of cool, fun, awful and abject horror. How the hell do you navigate this as your child becomes older?

With my main bookshelf looking like a battlefield (just gonna tear out the HP books when I have the time to sort out everything around them), I had to remove stuff from my more decorative shelf to find space. And I'm already running out of it. I hate selling books, but it might be time.

I had issues with Death Stranding 2's gameplay, that you never really have to engage with any of its systems, compared to the first game. And the story is 100% Kojima melodrama and silliness. But that ending? It almost had me in tears. Now I don't want to stop playing it, even if I wanted it to end.

Starting yesterday, it seems like my soon-three-year-old daughter has officially entered her "why?" phase. I am guessing the time we spend reading every night before bed is gonna start taking a whole lot longer.

Found a 1st edition copy of Aleister Crowley's The Holy Books of Thelema from 1983. Sadly, its beautiful black cover is hidden beneath the very beige dust jacket. As a bonus, someone has actually used the book for study (dated to 1986) and has underlined words and added comments in the margins.
