I have about a dozen half-finished OFMD fics. Please, somebody make me finish them! Or at least, make me finish one of them.

Recently I sat down and made list of my go-to OFMD fics/podfics, the ones that comfort me, distract me, keep me company on long days. But it made me wonder if my favorite fics are everyone else’s? So lay it on me, what are your favorites?

Only three hours to go on our tiny auction! So, when I started making this bookshelf, I thought it would be funny to have Stede’s books glued in place to look like they were falling. But as I was about to glue them, I tipped the shelf too far, and… well…. They fell. (Cont. below.)

Tiny auction item #4: Stede Bonnet’s bookshelf features a shelf of books that open to reveal tiny nautical images. Four of the books show replicas of atlases from the 1500s. The “Captain’s Log” book was made by hand, using images from old maps and nautical diaries.

Tiny auction item #3: Even David Jenkins has a pair of tiny Ed and Stede, but now you can own a set, too! Made and donated by @rebelsophie.bsky.social, these guys are our tiniest auction item.

Tiny auction item #2: This gorgeous scarf was created and donated by @kninjaknitter.bsky.social. It’s inspired by the famous painting, “The Scream”, and while it is very long and technically not a “small” item the artist noted it can fit in a coffee cup. LOL!

Auction item #1: This incredible embroidery depicts Ed, tangled in Kraken tentacles, being rescued by our favorite mermaid Stede. This piece was created and donated by @ghostalservice.bsky.social, and bids should be placed in the comments here.

Stede was quite excited to find a set of atlases from a recent raid. This one is the “Nautical Atlas of Batista Agnese, 1544.” This is just one of many “readable” books that are featured on Stede’s bookshelf! It should be ready for auction next week, I think.

Stede’s bookshelf continues to take shape! Last night he was reading some papers he found on pirates. And oh, no, Stede! Why is that bottom shelf so messy? Stay tuned!

I am making tiny pirate books for a tiny bookshelf. When it’s done, I would like to auction it off to benefit Damien Gerard, who lost both of his parents in a year’s time and has had to make 2 trips to the UK for their funerals. Would anyone be interested in bidding on this sort of thing?

The feared pirate saw a claw machine, squealed like a little girl, and then plunked many coins into the machine until he won. Then Little Ed insisted on carrying his prize home, which wasn’t easy since the toy is bigger than he is. He named his new friend “Stede.” @ghostalservice.bsky.social
