Some of these commencement speakers don't even have the good speechcraft to pitch what they are selling. They can't be bothered to even frame the use of AI towards their audience. It's clear they aren't there to sincerely connect with the graduates. They are simply there to shill for the tech.

This isn't a new phenomenon I guess, but in light of the AI commencement speech booing: What happened to Capitalism's decree that the market decides? Do all these future professionals, leaders, what-have-yous not count? Does the market just have to live with things they boo loudly in public?

Capitalism wants to reduce your life to as few variables as possible. Live erratically, be inconsistent. Don't buy everything online. Go and buy something from the store on a whim. Make your own clothes if you have the time. Trade your neighbor for tools or food goods. Use the library for movies.
