I've spent YEARS decrying racism and microaggressions (And lets face it, aggression) in the queer spaces I inhabit. MOST furries and gainers and whatever other circle I'm in have ME blocked. They don't want to hear about their racist "friends" because they're white and reflect on them poorly.

Also I can't stress this enough in a post Charlie KKKirk world: Just because you got white folks around you DOES NOT mean they are there for you in a meaningful way or when it counts. More times than not they WILL choose their whiteness over their queerness and POC "friends".

The evidence is staggering. Even if we aren't ACTIVELY shit on, white people are just valued more. Look at any popular white artist/porn account and then look at their black counterparts. The numbers are almost ALWAYS lower by a substantial amount. People treat us like we're a porn category.

I do think white queers are privileged enough to not experience racism in the specific spaces they're in so I do appreciate it when they listen to me and boost my voice about the antiblackness I face in specific spaces. it hurts that people choose to pretend it doesn't exist but believe me it does.
