🥰I am reminiscing about my first experience presenting at an academic conference - ICQI at UI Champagne-Urbana. I enjoyed meeting autoethnography pioneers Art Bochner and Carolyn Ellis. I also presented about using narrative inquiry to explore school librarian stories and my PhD journey. #ICQI

🎯While reading about approaches to community-based research and the scholarship of engagement, I ran across this gem: "We need to invest in the future through the knowledge industry" (Boyer, 1996). To invest in school libraries and certified librarians is to invest in our future.
