Wishing you all a joyful start to the New Year! I want to put positivity & kindness out into the world this year, so 1 of my goals for 2025 is to use my VOICE more to share accurate school library stories to highlight all of the amazing things school librarians do every single day.

I decided to do away with Wellness Wednesdays and do out relaxation activities any and all the time. Inspired by @andreatrudeau.bsky.social's Calming Corner, I added a rack to organize our various printouts students can take & use.

I've added BINGO caller to my school librarian resume. A short chat with an admin at the beginning of the year led to the purchase of this inexpensive kit & BINGO sessions held randomly during lunch. It's been pretty fun so far.

This year I decided our book turkey should morph into a book peacock. One of my library secretaries was an art major & did a great job talking an idea from basic to exquisite.
