An unprecedented start to the #SuperBowl broadcast. Of the non-movie ads that were made available to view before today, I gave a whopping 13 of them my lowest rating (from a marketing perspective). SIX of them have been the first six ads shown (ad Instacart and Michelob Ultra to the list)

Wow. The first ad break of the #SuperBowl 1st quarter (YouTube TV, State Farm, Draft Kings, Toyota) all got my lowest grade (as a marketer). All wastes of ad dollars, so far. Yikes.

I love the Hoosiers story, and they are a fun team to watch. But I also smirk at all of the commentators and columnists today saying this team is a juggernaut. This team has zero flaws. One month ago the same commentators said the exact same thing about Ohio State. Sports is made for hyperbole.

The ICE officer with visible Nazi tattoos should be an entire news cycle. There should be experts on CNN, splashy infographics on every site. Everyone should be talking about it until he's fired. Instead it floats through my timeline, and a lot of you are probably like, "Wait, what?"

Blows my mind that some of the same journalists who see Trump as a want-to-be dictator at home are earnestly discussing the "challenges" for this same man to "bring democracy" to a country it just illegal invaded. Please grow up.

1/4 RANT: It frustrates me to see all this "Jack Smith's testimony is damning" stuff, because Jack Smith was gagged and forbidden to discuss anything that wasn't in the indictments themselves -- the indictments that were publicly issued 2 1/2 YEARS AGO, and that apparently nobody read.

Should we be preparing for some other country to come in and seize *our* lawless dictator? Is that how this works?
