By the letter of the law, the hit on Slafkovsky could be classified as dirty but the NHL usually lets those go. Can’t do anything about it now, Habs need to focus on the next 20 minutes. If they let it get to them and lose control of the game, Tampa may be re-energized.

Habs can’t lose focus, not the time to try and get back at Tampa bay with some extracurricular stuff. Get the win

There is an argument to sit Dach tonight, i get it, but the coach knows where his head is at. He may be hungry to make ammends and a hungry Dach could do wonders for the Habs. He's also very popular amond his teammates, some probably vouched for him.

For me Newhook is the textbook example of an elite 3rd liner. Can help in a pinch on the 2nd line, but he mostly generate offense through rushes. Although Demidov can generate some things off the rush because he's so talented, clearly he's more dangerous by cycling in the o-zone. Kapanen fits better

After some thought, I think my lines for tomorrow's Habs game would be: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky Anderson - Kapanen - Demidov Newhook- Evans- Dach Bolduc - Danault - Texier It's not perfect but this is not a perfect roster.

Should have been a penalty to Anderson but after what Sabourin did to him 2x, I don’t mind at all.

Disappointing but not surprising to see the CBC panel go out of their way to defend the NHL officiating. I know they are partners but be real. Sabourin hit Anderson from behind twice.

Sabourin obviously went out there with the idea or purposefully injuring Anderson. Hate to say this but the Habs have to respond in kind since the officials won’t do their job.

Habs got a raw deal there. Lightning should have been penalized for that trips right in front of the net. This is why I hate the officials “just let the players play mentality”

Why would Anderson fight Sabourin? Habs will lose a much better player than the Lightning would.
