Team value in FPL has never been less important than right now. In previous seasons, you could consistently expect around 0.30 to 0.35 extra projected points per gw per 1mill of budget (peaking as high as ~0.42 at the start of the 22/23 season). Currently it is around ~0.17

Matter of time after this deal. Stats Perform owns Opta and fbref used Opta’s data. Maybe it’s tightening the rules on who’s allowed to use your data following a new deal, maybe the betting companies in Opta’s pockets didn’t like their customers having the option to inform their decisions.

Lewis is really bright and a great follow, but I want to nuance something we'll discuss in the pod tomorrow: The PL top talent is largely BETTER than historic teams right now. It's just the fact that EVERYONE has talent and like a World Top 30 budget that lowers points for good teams.
