It says a lot about me that while everyone (rightly) celebrates this documentary I’m left elated at the realisation that the person announcing Marty winning the award at the beginning is David Whitaker, Doctor Who’s first script editor and architect of much of the programme as we know it

It's especially ironic considering No Time To Die's climax is lifted from the You Only Live Twice novel where the epilogue shows an amnesiac Bond being found by a Japanese fisherman and nursed back to health for him to return to work for Fleming's final novel The Man With The Golden Gun

The worst comic of 2025, the Death of the Silver Surfer #5 was published today with the titular event occurring as an act of self sacrifice to prevent a greater tragedy. But worry not for there is a new Surfer, a MAGA/ICE analogue 1/4

My answer to AI scraping is simple: all technology that utilises AI should be made open source so that anyone can use it. Something tells me that wouldn't go down well with the tech companies...

It’s becoming clear that the purpose of AI is the appearance of realism without fidelity. As long as it looks crisp and clean it doesn’t matter if it’s wrong. Which ends up rendering it both meaningless and worthless

Just watched the BBCThree repeat of
#DoctorWho
The Eleventh Hour and by god it's brilliant. I forget just how good an introductory story it is, not just for a new Doctor but for the programme in general. Matt Smith is fantastic and definitely my favourite new series Doctor- an equal to Tom Baker!

True story about how memories linger long after the fact: back in the 80's when as a teen I decided the goth life would be for me and started wearing all black, my Grandmother (b1922) turned around and said with incredible disapproval "Are you a blackshirt now?" And I had to convince her otherwise

The more I look at this page the more I think it a work of genius. There's an argument to be made that contemporary comics are possibly the best they've ever been on a technical level, but the price of this is too often a loss of comic's storytelling that this page exemplifies 1/10

Russell T Davies, it’s fair to say, has the gift of the gab. A master of the press release soundbite and its carnivalesque come-hither call, more importantly he’s an eloquent and impassioned disputant...

A great summary of an episode so good this scene is barely mentioned. I, Claudius really is the pinnacle of 1970's tv drama

's reviews of Camelot 3000. I'm old enough to have bought it on release but haven't read it since the late 80's trade, and Tegan does what any reviewer should do, which is make me want to reread it. Stirling stuff
