Funny idea, Home Alone combined with Saw. When the robbers come in, instead of falling over toys and stuff the traps are deadly and they possibly end up locked in a room and have to solve a puzzle to save each other. Can very easily turn very dark but I'd rather it be more like Adam's family

When I get good enough with Godot engine to do this, I'm thinking about making a physics game called "baby making simulator" where you're just spawning a bunch of babies (maybe more?). A big hurdle is being able to make artwork for this, so it'll remain a fun idea for now

Godot 4.1 Candy Wrapper mod After completing a playthrough, a big part of what makes this annoying is the win sound that plays when you progress to next level, which punishes you for completing a level. Turned it down a bit and it's not bad. Now it's ready for me to turn it into a Castlevania game

Windows 11 updated and put a bunch of A.I. junk on my PC. Fortunately there is Powershell script called RemoveWindowsAI which seems to be pretty thorough at removing all those applications and registry entries.

Game dev, Godot 4.1 Platformer mod The new features work as intended. I have an enemy killed counter across the coin collected counter in the pause menu, both are animated and work. Added a bunch of logging and audio enhancements (audio channels/fx) Next is maybe add popup menus for pause buttons

Godot 4.1, game dev, etc Platformer mod Finally ended up figuring out how the signal was linked for coin counter after manually coding a counter for each specific enemy node. Now I need to figure out how to direct the signal from enemy_killed into level node or higher and back into enemy counter

Ended up getting some small help with the Godot 4.1 platformer mod earlier but it's not quite what I need. At least I'll be able to manually write code for each individual node to trigger whether an enemy is dying, in a specific level, but there has to be an easier way with custom signals somehow

Gam dev: Godot 4.1; platformer mod Still trying to add a working counter for enemies killed so I have a signal in player, bullet, enemy for enemy_killed. Picking up coins triggers it just fine but a bullet hitting an enemy doesn't trigger it somehow. Maybe counter expects player despite all signals
