1. I love this corner of my studio when the afternoon light comes streaming in over it 2. Look at this magnificent antique mirror I scored at the fleamarket today. I think 2nd quarter of 19th century, but I’ve never seen one in this form that was so tiny and delightfully chunky!

Ok fine. I put up a couple decorations. But truly only as an excuse to get yet another house plant. Merry Christmas etc.

Pleasantly festive what with the pre-dawn color symphony of blue, gently falling snow, and merrily crackling fire (though really it’s just so I can get the branches from the yard burned pre-storm). I still hate winter.

Everything but the sky is still just blocked in, but it’s a start!
