Did some rearranging what with Sarah gone & with the new mattress arriving. Took off the bed rail that we put on to keep Jack 🌈 from falling off the bed. Somehow, having less stuff on my bed makes it look smaller. Weird.

It’s weird how quickly time passes. Going through photos & videos on my phone, and pics/vids it seems like I took just recently are actually a year or more old. It’s freaking me out a little.

I just found out that tiny little field mice climb into flowers like tulips and take little naps in them like hammocks and I feel like this information is too important for me not to share with anyone. 🥹

I fucking hate grief. Gone through it so many times. Hate the multitude of daily reminders that renew the experience of loss. It’s exhausting.

I am so tired! Had to get up at 6:30 on a Saturday because mattress delivery window is 7-11 AM today. When I get the “be there in 30 minutes” I have to be ready to wake my son so we can move the current mattress to let me clean under the bed before the new mattress comes. Naptime later!

My most senior cat, Allie, came up to me earlier this evening - when no other cats were in my room - and purred very loudly until I gave a sneaky extra licky treat. At the regular licky treat time, she showed up with everyone else & got bedtime lickies. 😹
