My 11 year old daughter set up a book group on Friday and seven of her friends came round to talk about books (and play). After all the talk about kids not reading, it was heartening to see their enthusiasm. The kids will be alright!

It's happening!! In June 2026, Squid Bits: That's a Nice Hat will be coming out! This book is a collection of some of the Squid Bits comics I've been working on since 2014 for The Phoenix and it's so exciting to finally see it in book form! There're some vintage SB strips in there too!

When I was a child I LOVED the Tubby Tin books, I drove my parents mad always asking that they read them to me. They're super rare but I got one and my kids fell in love with it. They've been asking for another so I managed to get this. So nice to share what I loved!
