I admittedly haven't watched a whole lot of anime lately, but I just finished the new Anne Shirley anime (based on the first 3 Anne of Green Gables books) and I absolutely adored every second of it 🥺💕 Highly recommended for cottagecore feel good vibes 🌼

In attempt to claw my way out of the pits of depresso I’ve been hyping myself up for LARP, which is next weekend! I’m working on a storefront to sell potions, scrolls and knick knacks in game 💕✨ I also made a new straw witchy hat and bought a new dress which came today and is SO CUTE I could cry 🥹

The universe decided things were going too well, so right after my egg retrieval I busted my knee, again… 😅 I was just squatting down to grab something and it popped, now I can’t put weight on it and it hurts like a mf 💦 But I got nearly a dozen mature eggies that fertilized, so there’s that 😭💕

Currently on Day 7 of injections for IVF. Cycle visits, acupuncture, fertility diet and herbs, I’m doing it all, baby! Also treating myself to serotonin (and naps) whenever I can. Pics from this last week 💕

It's the start of a new school year at Leo's preschool, and at pickup his teacher told me during self introductions he said "When I grow up I want to be like mama!" My heart... 🥺💕

The other day Leo wanted chocolate pretzels as a snack, so we introduced the idea of charcuterie with fruit, cheese AND chocolate pretzels as a compromise—now he requests to make his own charcuterie (chartery, chachakie, charnary, etc) board every day. Not too bad for a 3 year old 🥨🧀🫐✨

I have been majorly out of the Love Live loop, but I just heard about the AiScream live happening in September and I am so here for it!! I already bought merch and will totally catch the livestream if they offer it—Yay for LL becoming a meme I guess, lol 💕🍦

I put up a new bird feeder with seeds in the garden (already have a very active hummingbird feeder ❤️), it took the birds a week or so to discover it, but now they just slammed through a 10lb bag in 3 days!! These birds are gonna eat me out of house and home 😂

My new antidepressant must be working cuz I’ve been super motivated get out and garden!! It’s been a couple years since I’ve made an earnest effort—long enough that my growing zone has changed..?! I used to be in zone 9, but now we’re classified as zone 10. The heat isn’t just my imagination 🥵

I’ve been enjoying Pokemon TCG pocket lately—it’s made me want to get into the physical TCG, but I feel like the barrier to entry is high..?! I have no idea what to buy, all the info online is for diehard players and I’m over here like I just want a deck with some cute Pokemon that’s functional 😅

I sent my vote forward letters today 💪 I initally wrote 20, then I went to visit my parents and my mom wouldn’t turn off the Trump rally… so I went home and wrote 20 more. I may not be able to get through to my own parents, but maybe one or two of these letters can help offset that 🥲

Leo has been going thru a sleep regression, and comes out of his room 2,487 times a night. It’s frustrating but also, cute..? Last night we could hear him singing Happy Birthday to himself, then he came out to get us. We told him it’s time to stay in bed, but then he retorts BUT THE CAKE IS READY 😅🎂

I’m very entrenched in “mom life” these days, but I’ve been trying to carve out some time for myself—for one I finally scheduled an appt to get my ear piercings repaired/redone!! One side got torn/stretched when I was a teen and I haven’t been able to wear earrings since—I’m so excited 💖

So grateful to have a supportive partner cuz today was a stay in bed all day kind of day and I’m not normally entitled to those with a toddler 😅 I had to have a biopsy today to see if what I thought was a miscarriage is actually an ectopic pregnancy—waiting on results. I’m spiritually exhausted 🥲

Got my sewing room/office back in order just in time to pack up and donate most of my crafting stuff 😅 Mike and I will be sharing our office space for a bit so we can make room for some temporary roommates! I wanna take some photos in the pretty morning light tomorrow before I dismantle it though 💖

I guess we’re nighttime potty training now—Leo insisted on wearing underwear to bed instead of a diaper 😅 He’s pretty reliably trained during the day, but night is another story! I’ll need to wake him periodically to see if he needs to go... I wouldn’t have picked tonight to start, but here we go 😂

I started crocheting a mushroom hat for renn faire, got halfway done and hated how it was turning out so I started over with different yarn… so much happier with it already! 🍄

He’s been sent off in the mail so I can share now—my latest amigurumi project, Growlithe! Made as a gift for my sister’s birthday. I hope she likes him 🧡 He ended up being much more challenging than I anticipated, but I learned a lot while making him! 🔥

We introduced Leo to his upgraded toddler bed (bye bye crib, finally)! He laid down in it right away, then said GOODNIGHT MAMA, escorted me out of the room and shut the door 😂😭 It was only 4pm, lol. But at least it makes me confident he’ll be receptive to sleeping in it tonight!

Holy crap there’s a new Daiso going in close to where I live!! I thought this day would never come 😭💕!!

I found this lady during our closet cleanout and thought I’d try my hand at restoring her—my dad gave her to me the day I was born 🐻💕 I destuffed her, handwashed her fur and dress, replaced her nose and stitched up a few holes. She still feels “vintage” but looks much fluffier and smells fresh! 💖

We’re working on organizing our master closet, and while it’s not really practical I kinda love how the top shelves look like some shop in akihabara
