Watched Lux last Saturday, listened to this yesterday and subsequently rewatched the episode. Enjoyed the review and the rewatch. I don't need a back story about the companion or her folks, I'll take it on trust that she would miss them and want to get home to see them again. Perfectly natural IMO.

This story is one I do back to quite often I must admit when I fancy a bit of old nu Who. Flies along but with some quiet moments. The fixed point in time is dealt with rather nicely. Thanks gents.

I don't know about Fury being robbed, I know I was! Boring 12 rounds on the whole. Neither of them looked like champions of days gone by. IMO the judges over marked Usyk, it was not 8 rounds to 4, so this hasn't helped. Fury lost. Usyk won. It'll probably be 20 years before I pay for a fight again!

#12BeersOfXmas 2, 3 & 4 A bit of a mixed bag.... favourite was the offering from Mills. But all three accompanied the darts & boxing (one of these was definitely more exciting than the other 🎯) rather nicely in their own way
