i think if the hardy-daytona & red xiii minion had be pre-roder bonuses for 8.0 instead of just "fan fest commemoration items" than it'd be more likely to imply the theme but as it stands the fan fest items seem to not really imply much of anything

i think it is worth noting that the fan fest items being vii-themed doesnt necessarily imply 8.0 will be vii themed, as the 5.0 fan fest items were also vii themed (sds fenrir, cloud/tifa/aerith minions) and shadowbringers was not vii themed at all so
