Happy 30th, #StarTrekVoyager 🖖. I was *so obsessed* with Voyager leading up to the premiere, and I wore out our VHS recording of “Caretaker”. When asked to name the best Trek series, I’ll say DS9. But the one that feels like home to me, is VOY.

Mrs. Jonfucius got me into using clear cases and vinyl stickers to add a little personality to my personal tech. I swapped out some stickers today and inadvertently made my Kindle an homage to “In the Pale Moonlight”.

Happy 45th, #StarTrek: The Motion Picture! I adore this film: the visual effects, Persis Khambatta’s performance, the direction…AND THE SCORE. My God. My favorite Trek score and possibly my favorite Goldsmith score.

This is a steal for 57 episodes, new bonus material made especially for this release, and a remastering for high definition.

Recently rewatched V and: 1. It reinforced my belief that it’s always been better than the decades of jokes/memes have made it out to be 2. *All* of its scenes with the Trio are pure gold 3. This scene is beautifully acted and is one of the best explanations of Kirk

Just realized that 20 years ago today, "Awakening" aired for the first time! Filming my scenes were obviously special memories from two months prior, but sitting down to watch the episode on TV & see myself on the Enterprise on #StarTrek was beyond incomprehensible. What an absolute dream come true.
