Describing Bill C-27 as a "technical term that no one else but us will maybe get" is a hell of a good way to trivialize the role of law in society. Yea sure, laws are just technicalities that no one cares about.

Policy idea: jurisdictions that require platforms to maintain ad registries should also require them to ask civil society organizations if they want to host the data before deleting it.
