Heartbreaking end for Indy, but I stand by what I said. After a rough slog of a Sixers season, watching the Pacers throughout these playoffs reminded me about actual basketball-related joy and excitement. One hell of a run.

Game 7. I've been riding with one team the entire postseason... had some of the most fun I've had watching ball in awhile... I can't switch it up now... Pacers.

I really hope this means they believe Hali will be more capable than he was G5... I get "leave it all on the floor" but he was an actual detriment to his team last game! No disrespect, he was clearly in pain — but leaving him on the floor like that again though would be insane.

Easily the most miserable season of Sixers basketball I’ve covered… and yet, people kept reading/commenting on articles and engaging on social — it made all the difference. 2024-25 season was a weird one, but thank you all for the support as always! On to the lottery/draft.

Not the worst tank from the Sixers, all considered. Philly were on a 4-game win streak back at the end of January. At 19-27, they were 11th in the East and 8th in draft lottery. Since then, they've won just 4 of 33 games and have all but locked in the 5th draft lottery spot.

Nets beat the Pelicans tonight. This is looking all but locked in for the Sixers NBA draft lottery positioning. Philadelphia ending in 5th (no ties) means a 63.9% chance to hold on to their pick (protected 1-6) and a 10.5% chance at first overall.

The Sixers last played the Bucks on Feb. 9. That is the same game that ESPN's Lisa Salters reported that Joel Embiid told her his knee “will likely take another surgery” to be repaired.
