Revisiting a project I submitted to the writing group I was in a few years back. Still pleased with it but feel I’m a far better writer now. The concept is solid and I got some good feedback I can use to improve it.

A new beginning. New season and today I started writing my next novel

First copy of the Triton Run sold in a @Waterstones in Scotland! Go @WaterstonesGla ! Birmingham also sold out for the second time. Hopefully they’ll restock soon.

And I also forget that I’ve two other full books that need work and something doing with. One is the best idea I’ve ever had!

Busy few weeks. Last night sent in some revisions in advance of the Triton Run’s second print run. Now, I’m working further on my second book, out March 2026. Then, on 12 August I’ll start work on a third book for 2027….

No better feeling than seeing your book on a shelf (other than knowing it’s not there as it sold!)

Great news, @Foyles are now stocking The Triton Run and copies are on the shelves in their massive Charring Cross store.

Nearly at the end of 2 weeks with no writing. Will change tomorrow. We’ve also had a guest to stay. Safe to say our own dogs are NOT happy!

When I was checking stock earlier I discovered that The Triton Run has SOLD OUT at the wholesalers. The first print run is gone! Northodox are getting some additional stock to the wholesaler next week to tide them over before the second print run. @Waterstones still have copies!

Another visit to @WaterstonesLPL to sign the Triton Run and bumped into Hannah, the bookseller who helped pick the cover. Was great to say thank you. I had a choice and wasn’t sure so I came instore and asked for views. I think she made a great choice!

I’ve just finished writing what will be my second novel to be published in March 2026. Phew! My fourth novel overall. There are still plans (in my head at least) for the other two and I’m intending to write another one for 2027 too.

For the evening crowd! As I post this I’m watching Neil Young on telly at Glastonbury and writing the very last chapter of my second book due March 2026.

The Man

All I can say about Glastonbury is that it seems to me that it should be based on the love expressed during Pulp and the likes of Brandi Carlile rather than the hate expressed elsewhere.
