One happy realization over the past day of wins is that this site can be a place where political magic happens. This comes as a shock to folks on other sites who say we are in a filter bubble. Makes it all the more important that non-billionare controlled spaces exist. Media diversity matters.

my positive vision for atproto is for people to have a greater degree of self-determination on the public social web. baseline experience should be decent, but motivated folks should be able to organize and get more control over their online spaces and experience in line with their norms+values.
