I was at a workshop held by @bikesd.bsky.social to brainstorm ways to improve El Cajon Blvd and Councilmember Elo-Rivera was there. Just want to say he talked about how he bikes regularly for commutes and honestly I appreciate when govt leaders who use the infrastructure they vote on. We need more!

More delays for route 215 means more buses and operators (which we can’t afford) are needed for current service levels, which means cuts and in increase in traffic on Park Blvd and El Cajon Blvd. Every level of CA government is sprinting backwards on climate resiliency and livable cities.

We’ll ride together to honor the lives of cyclists and pedestrians lost to traffic violence in the past year. This is a quiet, reflective ride — a call for safer streets and a tribute to those we’ve lost.
