There are innumerable games that would just be lost otherwise, it's not even a new issue, just accelerating at an exponential rate. Look up "MAME Decapping" for the extreme measures needed to defeat certain forms of arcade encryption before some games could be lost entirely.

I was late to the Southern Reach and I read Annihilation, got distracted for a year, reread it and did the trilogy and Absolution back to back. Sometimes not the case with books written significantly later than previous entries, but Absolution is a really good addition that strengthens the whole.

I like that the Halo CE remake will let you adjust difficulty individually in co-op. So thoughtful for people who want to hang out and play a video game with loved ones who aren't good at it. Little kids, partners who don't play FPSes, etc. Also I think you could turn it into a party comp game.
