This encounter left a warm imprint on our souls. The foxes reminded us that nature lives a life of its own, and that we are merely guests in this world. Meeting the foxes was a reminder of how vital it is to cherish nature and respect its inhabitants.

I have visited Ergaki National Park—a natural gem of the Krasnoyarsk Krai—many times. This place is renowned for its rocks, forests, and rivers. Yet, beyond the picturesque landscapes, what has stayed with me are the foxes that showed no fear of human presence.

With the arrival of warmer weather, black grouse become especially active. Males, hidden in dense thickets, emerge into open spaces of clearings and forest edges. Their goal is to attract the attention of females.

With the arrival of spring, ruddy shelducks return from warmer climes. This usually happens in April, when bodies of water become free of ice. It is precisely in the spring that the ruddy shelducks' charming ducklings come into the world. Just like these.

The kinglet is the smallest bird in our country. This miniature feathered inhabitant of the taiga seems to embody the indomitable force of life, breaking through the final days of cold. With the arrival of spring, kinglets return from warmer lands.
