You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution. That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk. Wow.

If Schumer thinks a no vote will absolve him of responsibility, he’s dead wrong. He’s the minority leader. It‘s his job to keep Senate Dems in line — or to hand over the job to someone who can.

We went from having an energized united party on Tuesday to the Senate Democrats pulling the rug out from the entire party.

This is a morally repugnant betrayal of House Democrats, of Democratic activists, and of Democratic state electeds who have been fighting this out in the court of public opinion. We trusted Senate Dems to negotiate. They fucked us. Just fucking enraging.

Voters blame Republicans for the shut down, Democrats won across the board on November 4, by an 80- 20 split people want healthcare, Trump is getting horrifically boo’d at a sporting event and the Democrats decided it’s time to cave. JFC.
