Biggie was spotted with 806 and her spring cub on July 3rd and it's the third adoption since bear cams began (Holly and Cubadult, 910 and 909jr) but the first time a mother has adopted a subadult-aged bear while she has her own spring cub. It has been adorable to watch. 806jr really likes Biggie.

A bear came through my camp while I was in Canada and sniffed around my tent while I was in it during the night, and nothing happened obviously but even though I'm back home now any little sound the hour makes immediately rouses me from sleep completely alert.
