I think Seattle food scene is the most “throw it at a wall and see if it sticks” of any city that I have ever been to. You can get a sea urchin and fennel cannoli on the same street you can get teriyaki fish and chips (the cannoli was pretty good).

I love it here in Japan. I love getting better at the language and the experiences I’m having. I could live here. Though talking to natives, who wish they could live elsewhere, and expats, who are here more to run from their problems than pursue something they love, reminds me of how fortunate I am
