As more people discuss censorship, I understand but am annoyed by the impulse to go “I don’t approve of [insert fictional kink] BUT…” I don’t care. It doesn’t help anything. Just say criminalizing fiction and censorship sucks.

It really is all wedge issues. You see differentiation between The Extreme Kinks. The Weird Kinks. Legislators don't. Suits don't. Businessmen don't. But they see you griping about one or two of those kinks and see it as broad consent to get rid of everything. It will keep happening.
