Finally finished this painting! It’s acrylic on canvass. When I painted it I was thinking about how we pour our souls and our life into the things we create.

Something you may or may not know about me is I love finding new music that I haven’t heard yet. Weird, mainstream, alt, pretty much anything. Latest fascination is these guys and their acid funk math rock youtu.be/pRgHYWOtqqc?... Got a suggestion? Toss it at me.

This gorgeous girl is Rain the brindle thoroughbred. She’s my only mare for now by random chance and by far the fastest horse I have. In my game she spawned without her NPC by the side of the road alone, so I took her and she’s been one of my favorites due to her speed and bravery.

The most recent addition to my virtual stable, a Hungarian Halfbred I named Cloud because he looks exactly like my favorite childhood posable horse toy by the same name. I’ve had a great time trying to emulate the kind of pictures they had in my beloved horse encyclopedia.

This is Ignatius. He is not a terribly strong or fast horse and pretty much every NPC owns a one of him, but I can’t get rid of him because he’s beautiful.

Also Mr. Pearson is a witch and we need to burn him now

I was a Barbie horse game girl and RDR2 has filled that void in my heart that’s been there for a long damn time. I may honestly never finish the plot and just ride around collecting shit. Yes I know how it ends. Maybe I’ll get to it at some point but this messing around is the best.

I’ve had a cold this week but got a surprise bright spot, an early delivery of my corset from Corsets & Cogs who I met at the PA ren fair last season. I can’t wait to incorporate it into my garb for this upcoming season! If I’m lucky I might make it to the NJ one this time and kick things off early!

Today in RDR2, where I’ve more or less decided to entirely ignore the plot and fuck off into the woods, I stole a train and parked it in an inconvenient spot where a wagon road crosses the tracks, causing a disruption to local traffic and annoyance in the population. This game is amazing.

So far highlights of RDR2 have included blowing up the white supremacist gang with dynamite in their house and stealing an entire train and a mountain lion jumping out of the woods and killing the cops who were chasing me down while I did so. Excited to see what today brings.

Tried the new local dim sum place, ate my weight in dumplings (definitely going back) and now it’s time to do some horse crimes in RDR2 and hang out under my heated blanket. If it’s gonna be this cold I call that a perfect day

Got myself under a blanket to warm up from shoveling the metric shitton of snow coming down today and ended up in a cat pile. My day is made.

I’m running through Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. I found a guy at a campsite who said he usually doesn’t want people around but it’s ok if I warm up for a bit and rest. My guy Arthur plopped right into his lap and they started holding hands I’m dying

MAGfest was once again the best. I got to hear so much amazing video game music and hang out with some pretty awesome friends. Made it to all 3 nights of Protomen and finally tried the giant hat game. Decided Jaws is my favorite pinball machine (so far). Can’t wait for 2027!

Work has been a lot with our massive pre holiday rush so I took today to rest and recharge. I’m finally, after 16 years of playing, running my first Paladin in WOW and I can’t believe it took me this long. I am loving it.

Never been a huge nails person but recently discovered press ons cause of @itsembyrrose.bsky.social getting into them and I got this really cool iridescent set from them because it fit my teeny nails a little better. I think I might actually do my nails for some occasions now!

In a few shots of Spoonful of Sugar it is revealed that Mary Poppins’ reflection is an entirely different entity than she is and I feel like there’s a horror retelling in there somewhere

On the final day of ren fair I finally succumbed to the call of Corset from Corsets & Cogs at the PA ren fair and it’s surprisingly comfy! It’ll be this shape I’m trying on but in this amazing patterned fabric and I can’t wait to have it sent to me!

Never in a billion years did I think I’d be a cozy gamer but Stardew Valley is amazing. I’ll get back to my high octane shit eventually but it’s nice having something relaxing to play too. Going to the Stardew concert and meeting Concerned Ape totally sold me on it and I’m so happy I’m trying it!

About to get into MIVS judging for MAGfest 2026! This is my third year helping out and I have started really looking forward to this time of year. I love testing them and seeing the crazy effort people have put into developing these games and getting to see them in the Indie showcase each year.

Helping @itsembyrrose.bsky.social at PA ren fair was fantastic. We met so many awesome people and adorable dogs all weekend and the booth did great. Can’t wait to go back for the final two weekends in October cause I think it’s gonna be even better!

Forgot to post because I got a weird small sick afterward, but made it to the Lunar Faire for the first time this last weekend! Definitely want to go again! I got a $2 vertebrae for my stuff shelf and saw tons of cool people doing witchy things

It’s gotcha day to my baby cat Killian, Kiki for short so here she is today. I’m obsessed with her, and she is perfect. I can’t believe I’ve had her for three years. I had no idea what loyal and devoted animals cats could be until I met her. She’s made my life better every day she’s been around.

It’s ren fair prep time!! I’ve picked up this super cool bodice from TheGreenDragonfly76 and horns from RavensReignDesigns on Etsy and I’m super excited to wear them! I’m assisting @itsembyrrose.bsky.social at PA Ren Fair! Sep 6/7 and Oct 18/19 and 25/26. I plan to go for just fun weekends too

Finished our vacation and it was just what I needed. I made it up to the beach, watched the sunset in my favorite spot on the jetty, and finally have this painting almost finished. I’m in the final details now, I can feel it! Excellent week with wonderful friends and partners.
