Maybe grimdark is just a mistake as a genre convention cus of how it gets treated. Theoretically it is a different shade of dark fantasy that is more about the cynicism and horror of society and the darkness around and in it, but in practice scale creep on longform fiction in it is goofy as hell lol

40k 11e update: im not even mad about the increased cost on the shroud runners. They made taking 1x6 cheaper than 2x3 which means corsair coterie has one of the best infantry and character precision elim units with the option to strip cover for addl targeting for 190 points after enhancement.

11e update went about as well as i expected, lost some points but gained them in others. Really excited to play a really mixy ynnari list soon! Coterie of course is up to date and im assembling shroud runners for it... 😈

Starcraft tmg shipping might be delayed and all but 11e is going to feel allt like some of the changes I wanted. I think the space and dev life cycles are showing a lot more higher quality output on Starcraft TMG tho so itll be nice to have a space to leave to when James Workshop fucks the balance.

40k 11e favtion update: im rembering how much damage Lance adds to the Troupe Master in Serpent's Brood, so the fact that its now a strategem on 1DP add on to all 2 or less DP aeldari means that harlequin splash is pretty spicey. Shits gonna make them hit like a truck out of a falcon lmao

40k 11e updates: Harlequins splash is going to be one hell of a drug in detachments like ynnari and seer's council. Windrunners and corsair coterie will take exiles though. Windrunners is probably gonna do some early numbers but i think harlequins have some serious tools to play with now.
