We've been reviewing the entirety of the era and just finished flux for a podcast. Craig Els got my outstanding performance for his ability to perform under all of that costume and makeup on the first episode. He does an amazing job.

So, lemme get this straight... Bowie: The Final Act skips over his 90s/00s material as non-essential, and doesn't even bother to talk to any of his later band members? Stuff that sideways. Bored of the idea he was crap between Scary Monsters and Blackstar. The latter is most like his 90s work.

When people come to my house, they're sometimes surprised by how little Doctor Who merchandise can be found. Oh, sure I have the blu-rays and what have you, and yes I do own the crisp packet from Orphan 55...

Picked this album up a few years ago for a criminally insane price of 50p. Like most of her albums, this currently isn't streaming in its entirety, but absolutely should be. When people tell you all recorded music is available on Spotify, get them to find Petula Clarke's discography.

At the end of 2016, we had a fancy dress theme for our NYE party where people had to come dressed like it was another year ending in 6 cos 2016 was so shit: eg 1996, 1986 etc. The playlist was themed to match this. BBC Radio 2 are doing this exact theme now in 2026. Ahead of the curve again.

The thing about The Traitors new twist is that before, there was a sense that the Traitors had to at least pretend to argue among themselves who to "murder". A hidden person off screen narrowing the options to just three people FEELS like producer meddling pushed to the forefront.

So, that was 2025. Too many mad memories to mention. Here are some edited highlights. Thanks to every single person who made me smile this year. As the late Ozzy Osbourne would put it: "I hope you never stop cos it gets me through." Big love and see y'all in 2026!!!

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)

I'm no fan of the royal honours system, but Dame Meera Syal has got such a ring to it. What an icon.

It would be nice to see more positive representation. Too often we're seen as the butt of the joke, or a "how did they get laid" freak. Also, it's rather lovely whenever someone does find me sexy, fwiw. I never really know what to do with that information but it's nice to know all the same.
