In a system using Ranked Choice Voting and Proportional Representation, many parties are allowed to compete for the same voters without fear of splitting the vote. Because of that, voters don’t have to settle for one of two parties that may not reflect their beliefs.

Ranked Choice Voting has produced a consensus winner from a crowded field. The campaigns were civil and substantive. The candidates worked together to advance common interests. This is how elections should be. This is how they can be in Santa Clara County if we make our voices heard!
