The Hearts and Hands collective is a new grassroots community activism group in the #northeast. Their first meeting is this Sunday 9th feb, 10am Earthlings cafe.

One small step we can all take this week is to follow, support and platform the organisations across our communities who are supporting women who are facing or have faced sexual abuse and violence and the organisations who are fighting for change. representwomenne.org.uk/directory/

Represent Women had a productive morning yesterday at North East Combined Authority's Foundational Economy Roundtable. Women are overrepresented in the Foundational Economy workforce. We must ensure women's voices are heard and their experiences and needs are taken into account.
