Back to the theater for me in August

After a few weeks, I think I’m fully equipped to say that DOOM: The Dark Ages delivered for me. I think it’s my least favorite of the recent ones, but that’s just down to gameplay preference and atmosphere. Getting bronze among three S-tier games is no joke. Can’t wait for DLC and Master Levels

Playing my second run through for DOOM: The Dark Ages. I’m loving it. Bumped up the difficulty from Hurt Me Plenty. So far, Nightmare is challenging, but it doesn’t seem quite as hard as Eternal on Nightmare (just finished Chapter 8 so that may change). All in all, having a great time!

A lot of recent Star Wars hasn’t really hit for me, some is absolutely better than others. But Andor is a gem and has won me ALL the way over. Never would’ve expected it, since I didn’t really care for Rogue One. VERY glad I watched it.

Post a sequel that really hits. My choice: Chronicles of Riddick. Took a HARD turn from the tone of Pitch Black, but I was all about a high concept sci-fi banger starring a protagonist who absolutely doesn’t fit, and yet fits perfectly.
