Sodor: Dark Times was completed on June 23rd, 2009 at 4:50 am (I was definitely up all night editing it). It turned 15 years old this past June.

In 2012, after having a vivid dream, I wrote a frenzied script for an emotional retelling of the Duck and Diesel trilogy. It was also heavily influenced by the music of Franz Liszt, and I planned to feature his music prominently if a film was ever made. It still gives me chills thinking about it.

Just for the sake of fun, I’ve considered remaking the original Dark Times with updated voice acting and music. This isn’t the “reloaded” version that I commissioned Carson with years ago, but just a nostalgic recreation of one of my favorite projects. Would there be interest in something like that?

Thinking about the original Edward. The proportions were wonky and the textures corrupted, but it was my first "successful" TTTE model. For some reason, I used the Big Boy whistle on him, which was incredibly funny.

Despite Dark Times’ depressing plot, my mother was always very supportive. She was a writer herself and sparked many of the ideas that made it into the videos. We had a little “premiere” with each one, and she spoke of DT fondly up until her passing in 2014. We bonded a lot throughout the process!
