Whilst visiting the South Jordan, UT Warhammer store last month the lovely staff member gave me an Infernus Marine "as a souvenir". I have painted it in what I feel is an appropriate scheme to really solidify it as a token of my visit.

Thr thing about doing a Hyperphase Blade is that you always have to do it twice. Each side feels like a new start!

I picked up Sergeant Jovan at the Warhammer World Anniversary yesterday, and immediately seconded him to the Deathwatch. As far as kitbashes go it was extremely minimal (literally just the one shoulder pad) but he just looks so Deathwatch-y already I didn't need to do anything else.

I sent nearly an hour just getting that strap in the right place for the Plasma Incinerator, but it was worth it I think. Gunner Veteran seconded from the Sons of the Phoenix, because it'll be a nice chance to paint a bit of purple.

What if Stormcast, but Deathwatch? 🤔 Speed painted a concept I've had percolating for a while now - an elite band of Stormcast veterans, handpicked from a variety of Stormhosts, known as the Watchers in Death. The Questor Soulsworn would be a good kit for this if I ever get around to it.

Proving the naysayers* wrong by kitbashing a vehicle, not just infantry. An interesting challenge getting the Deathwatch shoulder pads on amongst a couple other smaller changes. *Its me, I'm my own naysayer.

Got round to seconding my Jump Pack Captain to the Deathwatch with a sword'n'board combo. I really like the knightly air of his pose, not unlike the Lion. Further pics in second post.

Answering that age-old question "What if Tor Garradon joined the Deathwatch?" with this kitbash. Swapped out his main armament for a Frag Cannon and gave him some additional firepower on his left hand. Slightly fiddly, but very happy with the end result, and a great way to round off the hobby year.

My holiday hobbying has me working though a pile of spare Space Marines I was gifted and the mass of Deathwatch bits I've accumulated over the years. With no regards for rules (other than the Rule of Cool) I'm just making some really fun and characterful builds.

When you think about it, Night Lords are just a legion full of Chaplains. Rely on fear? Check. Carry miscellaneous body parts (bones, skin) on their armour? Check. Convinced they're absolutely right and they make a point of proving that in a violent manner? Check.
