Huh, I was looking at retired numbers for LIDOM franchises (as one does). José Oliva, a former Atlanta Brave who tragically died at 26 in a car accident, had his number retired by Estrellas Orientales. Apparently, in winter ball he wore number “123.”

At what point do we just laugh?
