Just got the first volume of Casanova in the mail to complete the entire run! I’m thinking about doing a reread, one issue per day, to just really stretch out the experience. One of my favorite and personally most influential books! There would be no Future Band without Casanova.

I was also able to pick up a mostly complete run of Casanova from @mattfraction.bsky.social and @fabiomoon (and others I can’t find to tag). Probably the most exciting moment of the week.

@dougwagner13.bsky.social this book violates every rule of what I typically like but somehow I was completely riveted. Disturbing and weird yet funny and somehow sweet?? The most unique tone. Loved it.

A while back, I finished my collection of Avengers v2 and v3. Now it’s time to turn my attention to v1 and work on the older issues specifically. This just came in the mail and I know it’s low-grade but who cares. This is so good.

I took my son to the comic book store today for the first time (he’s just shy of 4 years old) and he was blown away. I let him pick out a comic and he picked this random Thunderbolts comics with Ghost Rider… so proud 🥹
