Callisto Protocol B Horror Movie Game Free on Epic today it is a decent horror game, similar to dead space. I watched it and was entertained but then got bored playing it because I knew the story. The combat was satisfying but was a bit too cinematic for my taste. #gaming

Spin Hero C- Rougelike Slot machine Felt like a spin on a incremental battler...? There are many other better things to play but it is sufficient. Luck be a landlord really sets the bar for this and not having a Item collection to go through makes it hard to make interesting builds... #gaming

Grapple Dog B 2D Platformer This game is so so satisfying to play. Simple story with decent level design. Some of the later levels started to get a bit frustrating, making me wish it had a Gold Mushroom type helper, but the grapple mechanics are amazing and used well. #gaming

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles B+ Roguelike Dice-builder This Dice deckbuilder was extremely satisfying.. A bit easy to me, I've debated doing more daily runs but it doesn't actually finish the runs.. I do wish it added "experience" to the characters so the lvls didn't feel like a grind. #gaming

Lumbearjack B- Casual A game I played a while back when I got it free on Epic. It's a decent game that I love the theming of but wasn't the clearest game some times. I got a bunch of the collectables but could not bring myself to even look at 100%'ng it. #gaming

Tower Wizard C+ Clicker it is interesting to play an incremental game that actually has an "end" it was satisfying. Paying for a clicker is not that common but I really appreciated not being advertised microtransactions did make it pleasant. Very relatively short but it was nice. #gaming

Moonlighter A Dungeon Crawler #moonlighter2 just came out, here's my thoughts on the original. It was one of the best games I played that year. I always loved Recettear and this embodies that gameplay loop. Bugs in the original held it from being S here's hoping for the sequel. #gaming

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara B- Casual 3d platformer This is split into timed levels and the game is fine. Great movement system but the level design doesn't lend itself to going max speed. Basically if you roll jump everywhere like I end up doing you end up in gaps.. feels bad sometimes.

BallxPit B+ Action Roguelike I liked this a lot to the point of getting all the achievements. At a point the game becomes an idle game and that is why my play time is so high.. kind of... I wish it had more depth it has an amazing gameplay loop but the depth feels like undercooked.. Lava Cake Game

Lil Gator Game B+ (DLC Upcoming) Casual Free-Roam This takes some of the fun movement tech from Breath of the Wild and puts it into a very sweet heartwarming game. New DLC next year will very likely be something I pick up. Adore when you can feel a creators care in the work that you get to play!

Lenna's Inception A Top Down Zelda like Action Built in randomizer makes this a very cool game to me. It's a love letter to zelda lttp randomizer and glitches like in pokemon. The story is solid and I liked being able to see new things in a second playthrough. Would recommend if it's your jam.

Monument Valley A Puzzle-Platformer This took the parts I liked of fez and polished the hell out of it. It felt like a B in the main story but the additional content really pushed the concept and I really enjoyed it. When you know when to break your own rules you can make some great puzzles.

[Old] Fez B Puzzle-Platformer Mainly Posting this for context but I had some difficulty with some of the language/glyph type puzzles in this and had to look up a fair few things. I completed the main objective but there was enough hidden content I know I didn't really get to.

Unfair Flips B Clicker (non-idle) This was an interesting clicking game that is very up front about odds. I played the loop a few times and I haven't "won" yet since it's only a 10% chance but I think I'm content with it as a game.

Revolution Idle C Idle game Engaging enough to plat for a while. There is clearly more depth to it but the base line loop wasn't quite enough to keep me from moving onto something else.

Void Stranger A Puzzle (Sokoban) layered story This is an older game that has a knowledge locks like blue prince but a much smaller scope. Amazingly good monochrome pixel art and a lot of great layered game design. The story is also heart-filled and is worth experiencing alone.

Let's School (D?) Management/Builder Something just felt off about this and I didn't feel like putting more time into it... It's like a school sim where you are trying to get students to pass tests? I'm going to pivot to a different one...

MainFrames B+ Precision Platformer Very Clean platforming and several good ways to play with the theme and story. It has a lot of achievements that are mini check lists, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of story divergence, which is fine but limits replays.

Blanco B- Co-Op Adventure Cute wolf and deer work together to find their family. Short and Sweet, can finish in a single sitting. Would suggest people play but I wouldn't run it back.

Golf Peaks B Card based puzzle game Good concept well implemented with good visual style with several steps of amplification of mechanics. I had to look up a few hints for like 3-5 of the 120 puzzles but often I had the parts already partially figured out.

PolyBall Racing ball game D+ a bit more than minimum viable game imo Kind of like Monkey ball with a jump but without the designs. The movement feels good most of the time and it gets intense but a bunch a polish could have helped. The menu's specifically ruin the momentum.

Crab God C Casual Base builder with rougelike elements. it felt a bit too passive more like building a aquarium rather than a crab base. You just choose how much of each plant to farm and that attracts different fish... I like how it's trying to be environmental friendly bust just boring.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered D Action Platformer I couldn't play through this that much.. it felt too janky.. even compared to other tank control classics like Resident Evil which I love.. I got lost a died a few times and then lost a bunch of progress... so I decided to drop the game.

Blue Prince S Knowledge is power/metroidBrainia I love building layouts, rouge lites and also layered game play. I've done all but the speedrun achievements including the Blue Room ending. I've saved some images as a tattoo inspo in future... Amazing game.

Sticky Business Casual Shop Sim C Very cute art, and calming casual game where you make and sell stickers. Felt shallow but it's still nice.

Dreams of Aether Minigame Arcade B Lots of cute mini games with good art. Also does a good job of combining 2 mini games at one time which I'm not sure I've seen in other games like this. Cheap and Charming, would make a cute arcade installation.

20 Minutes Until Dawn C Survivors-Like 3 hours Went back and played this a bit after dropping it a while ago. There are just not enough enemies types and the upgrades start to blend together relatively quickly. I like the style but needs more.

I tried playing tomb Raider Premastered 1 and it was just tooo rough. I have no real nostalgia for the game, and I ended up lost and frustrated with the tank controls.. even after trying the modern controls I was already soured too much.

Boxes Lost Fragments PuzzleBox D This one felt notably weak in environmental story telling and natural game hints... played a while ago just played a little but I'm off to uninstall it...

Shotgun King Turn Based Rougelike C+ I came back to this after seeing a streamer play it a bit recently... The main problem I have is most runs do not feel varied enough, perhaps some of the more game changing powers are too rare, or more load outs at the start? Beat 2 runs and feel like I'm set..

Nova Lands Base Builder B Cute & Digestible toe in the water compared to factorio. Lacks some of the quality of life features that feels like should be possible.(trash filter)This was mostly done in one sitting and I can tell there some deeper goals, but I am satisfied. Saw all bosses n most skills

1000xRESIST Story-Based post apocalypse sci-fi B+ This game could easily be an S to the right person. The game feels like it processes trauma really well, real life events like covid lockdown and Hong Kong Protests. (5 demands) & touches on generational trauma and self-forgiveness. Gameplay Lacks

atmasphere D (Passing) Roll a ball game. It is a complete and competent game. Not really anything inspired, 30 levels finished up pretty fast medieval asset pack with some physics applied. Finished it but more a "project" then a game.

Hot Wheels Unleashed (got Free on Epic) C This was a fun racing game that I wish had better rubber banding or more granular options like some of the more sim games. Easy 10 seconds ahead of the pack Normal 5th~ish. Would not be such a problem if podiums were not needed to unlock more tracks...

Night in the Woods A Story-Game Game is super important to so many people. It is extremely raw with so many topics with multiple different perspectives... A whole town of characters to get to know, and is still so on point today even in different points in life.. Important Game.

Cavern of Dreams C Old School Mascot Platformer This game has a whole lot of style, looks and plays fun. However I think it feels a bit too stuck in the past with it's platform levels feeling clunky. There were also a few times I accidently broke sequence and got lost on what to do...

A Hat in Time Grade S 3D Platformer 13 Hours A really great 3d platformer with a lot of charm a fun story. Moving around the game is great and had lots of homages to games like Mario Sunshine which just felt great. I feel like anyone who likes 3d platformers should at least give this game a try.
