It's very strange to do a VO audition, then get an email saying "sorry, you didn't get it". Goes against everything I know about the job - if I didn't get it, I'll figure that out. If you're going to send a message, it should be confirming I got the job, and nothing else.

Today I learned you can heal mid-battle against trainers in Legends: ZA, almost 40 hours in and after beating the main story. I did hard-mode for myself without even knowing.

I love a good Pokemon anime reference in my Pokemon games when I see one!

I was genuinely a bit bummed about not getting this where I wanted it, and so - for better or worse - I used a bit of time to finish up what I'd originally imagined, with more shading and whatnot. Satisfied? Ish. DONE? Yes.

Spooky Friday drawing practice on the last weekend before Halloween! Wanted to add some spooky red eyes and more dramatic shading to this but I'd be here until Monday...

Saw the Chainsaw Man movie last night - this was the anti Demon Slayer movie. No monologues, pace-breaking flashbacks. Just dumb fun and wall-to-wall action (quite literally in my theatre - big scenes took up the whole wall real estate!). And this arc fits the movie format more than DS ever did.

Just saw this movie today, and it's kind of an Akira situation where it looked visually stunning, but I couldn't make heads or tails of the plot. Not as much action as I thought there'd be either (and a lot of info dumps/static talking heads haha). Still, glad I watched it. So, am I nuts or what?
