PIP is NOT an out of work benefit. Scope estimates that the average extra cost of being disabled is over £1000 a month. It's hard to understand for some with no experience of #Disability, but cutting PIP to many people could end up being a very expensive and painful failure.

Refused from access to bus twice in a year, by the same driver. Second time, I complained again, with further reminders of their duties outlined in court 2017 (Firstbus Vs paulley). This time the driver has (wrongly) accused me of being racist. First bus has threatened me with a ban!

has it occurred to anyone that rather than cutting benefits a better way to tackle the enormous number of people now claiming sickness and disability benefits might be to improve healthcare?

As somebody who has a disability that started when I was 17 and has friends who have a disease that rendered them severely disabled as a child, the "no claim before 22" proposal is abhorrent, poorly planned and clearly not researched. Then cutting UC health aspect for new claims, again DISGUSTING
