I've spent the last year playing Fantasy Pop Music (like fantasy football but pop music) with some friends and it's been GREAT. I'm pretty proud of the work I've put into it, and I thought other people might have fun playing too, so I've put my template and rules up on my itch page for free!

I have experienced too many fights with people who held the final say over funding sources & too many sleepless nights where I had to worry about someone who I KNEW desperately needed the help potentially having their funding cut off for arbitrary reasons to capitulate on any of this over boogiemen.

The wealthy gutting Medicaid and Social Security (which represent a vast majority of funding for disability services) to justify further tax breaks to themselves is a far greater existential threat to all of us than a hypothetical fraction of people potentially defrauding those systems to scrape by.

I cannot fear the cherry-picked examples of someone somewhere getting an accommodation they didn't need if it means thousands more who did need assistance got what they were entitled to and lived better lives for it.

Actively investigating fraud was part of my job for 17 years and the cases where fraud was discovered were almost always caretakers misappropriating funds for personal purposes other than the needs of the individual they served. Those cases were often found out and thoroughly dealt with.

Existing disability services are deeply underfunded, aggressively audited, means-tested constantly, and can be labyrinthine to even access or maintain without assistance. As someone who spent two decades as a cog in that system, concerns about fraud are overblown compared to the real existing need.
