On this day, 20 years ago, Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand was released for the Playstation 2. Everyone please wish a happy birthday to Lost Kefin! I know most folks are waiting for Falcom to remake Ys 5 but this version is also pretty unique from the original SNES release.

The very first release in North America was #Ys: The Vanished Omens in 1989 on the Sega Master system. The localization team misspelled the title as Y's, causing heavy confusion with editors and fans then calling it "Wise". Adol was known as Aron, while Dark Fact was Dark Dekt.
