PhD Life: Staying at work until 21:30h to design a presentation 🎨 Give the presentation without practice half asleep the next morning on pure adrenaline 😳 Be very happy and relieved about good feedback and a fruitful discussion 😇

Week#6 2026: Finally some plus degrees and we could start the garden year! 🌱🪏 New fence construction. Digging over soil. Surprisingly found some parsnips and made a wonderful soup 🥣 best Pizza in town @viatoledoenopizzeria 🍕🍹 and of course some horse training 🐎

Week #3 2026 was all about chromatograms. Is this a peak? Is that a second peak on top of the other? Where to split two peaks? 🧐 My eyes are tired of the detailed screenwork 🫩 Otherwise snow, ice, fog, horses ❄️🌫🐴

I am not surprised, bc I think people generally underestimate animals. Great that this is now scientifically proven for cows 👏 please follow-up with checking cultural transfer / learning by giving Veronika some cow-friends she could teach this specific tool-use to 🐄🧹

Week#2 of 2026 was all about Valdoria - my new sweet chestnut mare 🐴🥰 Vienna finally got some snow and icy days ❄️ (normal winter is already very uncommon here). Good deed of the week: I saved a water bird from being stuck in the garage 🐦 (took me over an hour(!) but I got it out 😇)

My week between the years 2025/2026. Nature, horses, family & friends. What a nice way to end the old and begin the new year 🥰 Trying to get as many of these moments as possible and enjoying them to the fullest will be my goal for 2026 ✨️
