This is out of the blue, but I've been inspired by the FossFighters posts, and I've started theorizing how you could normalize damage across a potentially inf number of source mascots and OCs by building a character profiler, including setting up hitboxes and control mapping.

This might look simple, but the hitboxes are user-authored on a timeline with an excessive amount of customization available, and after editing, can finally be compiled in a client (with input mapping across devices) for matches from a file. It's starting to feel like a real thing

Haven't been able to put much time into the builder this last week, fighter animations and controls talk to each other now, and now I can differentiate player inputs between keyboard, gamepad, fight stick (which is how they're being controlled below)

Fly through of part of a Keeper level directly in the Unreal Engine editor. Part way through I turn on all of the game objects the player doesn't see -- it takes a lot to make games work.

Made some headway on the foss fighter builder, hitting a known issue where call methods in the AnimationPlayer repeat upon playback. Next will be snapping "action nodes" to the timeline, and handles over the fighter preview to edit their size
