Looking through my Earthbound Player's Guide and its Day 13! My favorite feature this game had was the rolling HP meter. It's so fun to race the meter before getting KO'd. I would totally love to see it appear in other RPGs.

Day 12! The sound of the redswirl enemy ambush gives the same levels of anxiety as the sonic water running out time music gives. I tried more than anything to avoid the inevitably of a sneaky fella slapping at my heels.

Day 11! I didn't realize the luck stat was for dodging attacks, I always thought it was just a throw away Stat.

Day 10! Don't Care entry charts are filled with bangers. I would hit em with favorite food being Pokey just so Ness' mom would hit em with "You don't like Pokey? We'll T-O-O-B-A-D"

It's Day 9! We've got the homies, Jeff n Poo! It was hard as a kid to choose the Poo option I was like "No way this is real ill choose Omar." His other don't care names seemed so much cooler. "Kato", "Kai", "Omar", "Ramin", "Aziz", and "Lado". I love Poo now wouldn't change him for the world.

We got day 8! We've got profiles now! Some of my favorite bits in manuals were getting to know the characters more than what the game can give you. Fun fact Ness and Paula have different clay models than their Mother 2 counterparts. Probably to make them look cooler and older, USA marketing, etc

This is Day 7! I flubbed up and got my days mixed up! I'd fire the quality control guy, but he's family. Fun fact I always selected stereo as a kid cause I didn't know what Mono was, but I knew that stereos had speakers. If only I had the players guide to learn from my mistakes.
