#Cansky don’t allow somebody to minimize your cancer diagnosis. No matter what stage, grade, type, etc., until somebody has set in a chair and told they have cancer. They have no room to speak.

I think what some don’t realize post cancer diagnosis or treatment is while physical the battle might be over or “stopped,”….. The mental for some is just beginning. Living your life in 3-6 month intervals waiting for scans and bloodwork is miserable.

Tests are not always an unalloyed good thing. Of course you should get tested if you’re worried. But tests themselves have a negative impact: rearranging your life, the discomfort of the procedure, the anxiety of waiting for results. As a cancer survivor it can be tricky to navigate. #cansky
