Cycle commuting is great because you are able to interact directly with your environment. For instance, this morning I had a lovely chat with an old friend on my commute after she nearly ran me over and rolled down her window to shout at me. Her mood brightened as soon as she recognized me!

Adjusting your life to live car light or car free can be tough in our car-dependency-designed world but it can be done. The best thing we ever did was downsize our life to one used car that we use sparingly and a handful of e-bikes we use for all our daily errands/commuting. You can do it.
